OPAS Field Trip
The fourth grade had a wonderful field trip to aTm and attended OPAS Camp. The focus was Lantin America. They attended different stations learning different aspects of the fine arts. They listened to a Tango pianist, learned to tango, learned about different styles of Latin American dances, and even got to go to a instrument "petting zoo" where the tried different instruments.
Brett and Trent learning the Tango. What fun!

Private Field Trip
Due to the Swine Flu, Brett's fourth grade field trip to Austin was cancelled. All schools were asked to stay within their districts. The school quickly had a "make-up" local field trip, but Brett did not want to go. It was to a local gymnastics place and the movies. So, I decided to have and "Brett only" field trip to the George Bush Library. We had lunch and enjoyed some Brett/Mom time learning about George Bush and the special exhibit of the Space program.
