Super Chickens

Zach (otherwise known as "Leopold") with Zach and Michael. Thanks to Zach C. (in the middle) and Michael, Zach has become a very outgoing and GREAT soccer player. They play hard and have fun. Their smiles say it all. Go Super Chickens!!!

In action: the Super Chickens are working hard and working together to make the plays work.

Zach about to throw the ball in after it was kicked out of bounds by the other team. Note: now you can see his knees..... We can tell the age or division of the players by how much leg shows. When the boys started there was no leg/knee showing. As they get older, you start to see knees in between the gards and shorts.

Zach is proud. He made a GOAL, and is ready to get the next play going. Go Super Chickens!

Kindergarten Rodeo

Zach on a "bucking bronco" The kids had activity rotation each themed around the rodeo.

The kids took turns "milking" a cow. Cool!

Zach and his best friend, Cade, are ready to trike race. They had to race to the other side, fill their small bucket with the corn feed then return to base to fill the larger bucket. The team with the most feed wins!

Zach with his friends: Randal, A.J., and Jacob eating chili. They sampled from three and then voted on their favorite. They even awarded the dad who won the "king" of the chili contest. They even sampled the Texas made Dr. Pepper for refreshment.

Laurie and Elizabeth helping at the rodeo. It's all about the kids!

The Leopold Ranch!

Brett and Zach playing in their new front yard! We have bought an acre lot in Williams Creek subdivision. We hope to build soon, as soon as our current home sells.

Snow in College Station Texas!

On March 7, 2008: SNOW! Just as it was time to leave for school, Doug called out to the boys to come see the snow. The snow was thick coming down, but the ground temp was too warm to keep it frozen for long. By the end of school, the kids were out of coats and pushing their sleeves up.

The Zoo

Zach and a rattle snake. Very active, and very large.

A small croc. It seemed like it wanted to get Brett's arm.

Andrew, Zach, Brett, Bradly, and Matthew with the elephant

Zach at the lions. This is the female named Nala

Oh Tooth Fairy!

2/13/07: Zach lost a tooth! This is the first tooth to come out "naturally". He worked on it all day, in school. By the time he came home, it was "hanging by a thread". Mom helped it the rest of the way, by request from Zach. Now we are anxiously awaiting the tooth fairy.
