The Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley had a Mother-Son night. They always have a daddy/daughter dance, so now they offered a mother/son night. We went to a Bomers baseball game, had dinner, and the boys got to play on different rides/game before the game. No real dress up here, we are headed out to the ball park, but ready for our Mother/son date. Zach with the Chik-Fil-A cow. They provided dinner for us. Brett and Matthew A. participated in one of the end of inning activities. They competed in a Broom-stick game. They had to shoot the ball pass the mascot. Brett won. Zach did the pick a pizza. He had to pick a pizza box and either got a slice of pizza or a whole pizza. He chose the slice. Thank goodness he is always hungry. He got his slice right then and was able to have a 7th inning snack. The foul ball buddies. Laura and I found Bradley praying for a foul ball. He has signed up to win a prize if a train passed by during the game. We saw him across the field praying for either a foul ball or a train. Prayer answered. He got a foul ball. The the 8th inning, Matthew and Brett also found one too. They named themselves the Foul Ball Buddies.

Happy Birthday Day!
On Zach's birthday, he ran the show. To true Zach fashion, we had a lazy morning, sleep in, and hung out together. He finally had an idea what to do that day, so we set out to have fun. First we had lunch at Chuck E Cheese, (where else do you go for a birthday?), then he and friend Liam played putt putt golf. After, I took the two birthday boys (Liam's is July 17th), to the pool for a good swim. Later Doug, Brett and I took Zach out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse where he got to ride the saddle and have a Yeehaw birthday! He then picked out a cake at the store and we had cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to the birthday boy! Before bed, we all played a good game of Sorry, Zach's choice. He said he had a great party, then a great birtday day! Zach with his Birthday day cake. He choose the "dog" one....

Zach's Camp Out!
Zach had a "camp-out" party this year. He was looking at a book earlier this year and decided he wanted a outdoor type cake decorations. We later modified it to a camp out, but he wanted to have it at a pool so he could jump off the diving board. (he is growing gills...I can't get him out of the pool this year!). In the school year Zach's class celebrated all the summer birthdays, even let each kid have a "special" day......ever since, he has been counting down. We had the party this weekend, Sat., July 11 at Thomas Pool. He is still counting till Thursday: July 16. The cake: of course, ice cream cake from Maggie Moo's. YUM! Smores/ gram crust, better batter with chocolate chips mixed in. All decorated like a camp out.....thanks to the legos, I finally found a good use for them!

Zach at aTm Soccer Camp
Zach attended the aTm Soccer camp again....and loved it. This year the heat was way above normal: 100's, so the coaching staff moved the camp to the indoor athletic facilities! Wow, a whole football field inside. It was way cool! Zach and coach Phil. He was awsome and great with the kids. He is always able to make the kids laugh and get motivated!

4th of July
We participated in the Pebble Creek "4ht at the Creek" celebration. The kids were in the parade, Zach even decorated his bike! The kids then had fun playing carnival games, eating snowcones, and just being with friends. We then had a great lunch and hit the pool with all our firends. After a good nap, kids and dad of course, we ventured out to the George Bush Library for some more fun and the fireworks! What a great time celebrating the 4th.
